Be Still

 These few words have such meaning. They speak volumes to me when I worry, fret or am anxious. I know that if I can turn down my own voice, I can then focus on what God has to say to me. Sometimes it's hard to tune out my own voice/thoughts...like I have anything meaningful to say compared to God!!

I love how this card turned out. The center pieces were cut on the Cricut, making it that much easier.

The technique of direct to paper is used here. Taking the For Always B/T paper and running a Lagoon ink pad over the top. Changing the light cream background to Lagoon and making the black pattern POP!

The flower is cut at 2" on the Cricut, rolled up and finished with a little bling.

Love the shimmer ribbon which covers the seam between the 2 papers.

Thinking of You For Always

                                      BAM!! Doesn't this card just do it for you? I LOVE it!

The Art Philosphy Cricut cartridge is used to cut out the Lagoon card stock flower. Then For Always Textiles (Z1820) is used next to make a fabric medallion. Top with a Button (Z1372) green then a Black Glitter Brad with Black Waxy Flax.

A Blossom (A1121) is used too.

Paper heart using the Quilling Tool

The use of the Quilling tool to make the paper heart adds a wonderful touch to this tag. The heart shows how easy it is to use the tool to curl the paper. Think of the possibilities!

This card uses a darling stamp set called Focus on a Friend (A1138). Including 2 stamps for only $6.95. Also a favorite of mine is Universal Backgrounds (D1477) which adds great texture to the background of the card.

 

Art Philosophy Cartridge cuts out the paper flower from Creme Brulee cardstock. Cut at 2 1/2" then rolled up from the outside in. The cartride also cut the tag that the Focus on a Friend is stamped onto. Cut out of Daisy White cardstock at 5 1/4" then stamped with Whisper ink

I LOVE this paper packet! For Always is from the Spring/Summer Idea book 2013.

 

This card is made by Kristine Tanase, which I received in the National Swap I participated in. This swap is alot of work but yields tons of beautiful examples of all the paper packets, new stamp sets and accessories. Plus I receive ideas that I would have never thought of or tried myself.
