Spoons...a Deadly Game.

In our family games are HUGE competition. I've always been very competitive and my siblings are no different nor are our children. So when a "friendly" game of SPOONS occurs watch out!

We were all gathered to celebrate my Dad's passing with food, song and games.

I love in Studio J I can memorialize these events and share with everyone.

I love this Cricut card which uses the Babycakes paper packet and accessories. How quick and easy the Cricut cartridge makes when you can cut the card, the shape for the sentiment.

My Phone...

My nephew came to me and said "Auntie, your deck needs repair.". All I could think of was CRAP! what else.

Then I found out what he had done.....me thinks it's not my deck that needs repair.

Dalton's Tattoo

Here are 2 layouts I did of Dalton getting his tattoo. Never in my life did I think that our Mother/Son adventure would be getting inked together.

We both honored my husband/Dalton's dad with his name on our bodies.....

Lisa Gets Inked...

Yep, I got a tattoo!! Last summer my son was home on leave and wanted to get a tattoo. I have never wanted to get anything permanent on my body but after losing my husband I decided I really wanted his name on me.

I have seen some gorgeous tattoos on peoples feet, so that's where I decided to get his name.

Now "Duke" will forever live in my heart....and on my foot!!

Enjoy your day!

Thank You Card

                                            Created by Me!!

I'm always in need of a Thank You card, how about you? This is one of the cards we made at my last workshop.

Using the Babycakes  (x7173b  $9.95) paper packet this standard size card is quick and easy.
Cut a piece of B/T paper 3"x41/4" and glue to the bottom of the card
Lay a piece of Jute Ribbon (z1867  $7.95) on top of B/T paper using Red Sticky tape to glue it down
Stamp Banner Wishes (b1438  $9.95) onto scrap White CS with Honey pigment ink (z2501  $19.95 for 10 ink pads). I DID NOT emboss it just let it dry for a bit.
Stamp sentiment in center with Chocolate pigment ink (z2503), again let dry, no embossing needed
Cut out spiral flowers on Cricut with Art Philosophy cartridge (z1686  $99.00) with Honey, Chocolate CS
Cut out free hand a heart from Sweet Leaf CS, scrunch it up and ink up for leaf
Add Sparkles Brown & Tan (z1753   $2.95) with Liquid Glass to adhere them inside of flowers
Ink the edges of card with Honey pigment ink

Enjoy your day!
